Cub Scouts is a year-round program designed for young boys who are in the first grade through
fifth grade (ages 7-10) and their families that promotes character development and physical
fitness. Parents, leaders and organizations work together to achieve the purposes of Cub
Scouting which are:
Cub Scout members join a Cub Scout Pack and are assigned to a den.
Tiger Cubs (first -graders)
Wolf Cub Scouts (second-graders)
Bear Cub Scouts (third-graders)
Webelos Scouts (fourth and fifth -graders)
Cub Scouting is designed to have the boys doing activities to achieve the aims of Scouting:
Citizen Training, Character Development and Personal Fitness. Groups responsible for
supporting Cub Scouting are the boys and their parents, the pack, the chartered organization and
the community through dues, projects and other community programs.
